Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Memecoins are among the riskiest things you can do with money. Only spend what you can afford to lose completely.
Price and value
- Memecoins are extremely volatile and speculative. Most of them lose almost all of their value, often within hours or days.
- You can lose all the SOL you spend, including your buy at launch and the launch costs. There is no promise of profit, and MEMEWORLD doesn't provide liquidity or support any price.
- A country's size on the planet only visualizes its market cap. It isn't ownership and doesn't make a coin worth anything.
How trading works
- Before graduation the price is set by Pump's bonding curve; after graduation trading moves to a PumpSwap pool. Liquidity can be thin, and large trades move the price a lot (slippage).
- Your buy at launch is public on-chain: anyone can see that the creator wallet bought, and how much.
- Creators earn nothing from trading fees on MEMEWORLD coins: 100% of the creator fee goes to MEMEWORLD, locked at launch.
Technical risk
- Coins rely on Pump's programs and the Solana network. Bugs, outages, congestion, failed transactions and changes made by Pump can affect your coin and your funds.
- Transactions are final. A wrong address or a signed malicious transaction can't be undone.
- Market data shown on MEMEWORLD comes from third parties and can be delayed or wrong.
Scams and impersonation
- Anyone can launch a coin with any name. A name, logo or ticker proves nothing: always check the coin's contract address.
- MEMEWORLD will never DM you first, never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and never ask you to send funds to "verify" or "unlock" anything.
- Posts and replies in our Telegram may be written by AI. They use data from the site, but can still be wrong. They are not advice.
Legal and tax
Rules for crypto assets differ between countries and change over time. Some places restrict or ban memecoin trading. Taxes on gains may apply. Check what applies to you before you take part.
